This issue of Exchange showcases ways in which the people of the College are improving the world. We are addressing the COVID-19 pandemic in several ways, with research beginning to show promise on the sciences front, and also among humanities scholars and social scientists. We turned to some of our writers, and they are among those thinking about the pandemic and its impact on us as a society and as individuals. On another topic, we focus in this issue on our connection with data science, including one cross-discipline project intended to help people become better citizens through access to easy-to-use data.
Exchange Online is a magazine curated by the Office of Communications in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. We invite faculty, staff, students and friends of the college to submit news, events or story ideas for consideration through the "We Want Your News" button above.
If you have questions about the magazine, please email the college Communications Director Lynn Roberson at lynnroberson@uncc.edu. Thanks for joining the conversation.
